Afa Försäkring is Sweden’s largest provider of workplace-related insurance, offering financial support in cases of illness, workplace injury, redundancy, death, and parental leave. Today, 5.1 million employees in Sweden are covered through their jobs — yet many are unaware that this protection is included in their collective bargaining agreements.

With “When it hurts, think of us” locked in as Afa’s new conceptual platform, our challenge was to start making Afa Försäkring the very name of pain. And perhaps it’s no accident that “Afa!” and “aj!” (“ouch!”) sound like close cousins on the tongue…
